Mr. Siraj Ahmed Ali is a seasoned professional in the field of anesthesia with extensive experience across various roles. Since May 7, 2019, he has been serving as a Lecturer at Dilla University in Ethiopia, where he plays a pivotal role in teaching, conducting academic research, providing clinical expertise, and leading the Anesthesia Department. In January 2023, Mr. Ali took on the prestigious position of President of the Ethiopian Association of Anesthetists, showcasing his leadership capabilities and dedication to advancing the field of anesthesia in the country.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Ali held the position of Assistant Lecturer at Dilla University from September 11, 2015, to May 6, 2019, where he actively contributed to teaching, clinical practice, and departmental leadership. His journey in academia and healthcare began as a Graduate Assistant II at Dilla University, where he gained valuable experience in academic and clinical support, anesthesia service coordination, and research activities from September 11, 2014, to September 10, 2015.
Before transitioning to academia, Mr. Ali worked as a Junior Anesthesiology Professional at Kulito Primary Hospital from May 2013 to September 2014 and at Gidole Primary Hospital from September 2012 to May 2013. In these roles, he honed his clinical skills, provided anesthesia services, and contributed to patient care.
