Mr. Farzan Mushtaq is a dedicated academic currently pursuing his PhD in Applied Mathematics at Shanghai University in collaboration with the Newtouch Center for Mathematics. His research focuses on cosmology and differential equations, building on his previous work in cosmic thermodynamics during his MS at COMSATS University, Islamabad. Mr. Mushtaq has a strong academic background with a BS in Mathematics from the University of Education, Lahore. He has also contributed to academia as a visiting lecturer at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore and Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore, showcasing his commitment to teaching and research in mathematics.

Mr. Farzan Mushtaq is currently pursuing his PhD in Applied Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, Shanghai University, in collaboration with the Newtouch Center for Mathematics of Shanghai University, PR China, where he maintains a CGPA of 3.8/4.0. He completed his MS in Mathematics from COMSATS University, Islamabad (Lahore campus) in 2021, with a thesis on “Cosmic Thermodynamics of Matter Creation Models in Alternative Theories of Gravity” under the guidance of Dr. Abdul Jawad and Dr. Shamaila Rani, achieving a CGPA of 3.44/4.00. Mr. Mushtaq earned his BS (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Education, Lahore in 2018, with a CGPA of 3.48/4.00. He completed his F.Sc. in Pre-Engineering from Missali Zakrya Higher Secondary School Muzaffargarh (BISE DG Khan) in 2013, and his Matriculation from Ahsan Public High School Renal Khurd, Okara (BISE Lahore) in 2010.
Professional Experience:
Mr. Farzan Mushtaq has a robust professional background in academia, primarily serving as a visiting lecturer. Since March 2021, he has been imparting knowledge at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, where he teaches a variety of mathematics courses such as Calculus, Multivariate Calculus, Applied Probability and Statistics, Applied Mechanics, Differential Equations and Transforms, Numerical Analysis Lab, and Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. Additionally, since February 2022, he has been a visiting lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Punjab Tianjin University of Technology Lahore. His prior experience includes teaching as a visiting lecturer at UCMT College Okara and working as a math teacher at the Grammar School System in Okara. His teaching portfolio reflects his commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts among his students.

Mr. Farzan Mushtaq’s research interests revolve around cosmology and differential equations. In cosmology, he explores various aspects related to the universe’s structure, evolution, and dynamics, including topics such as dark energy, modified gravity theories, and matter creation models. His expertise in differential equations encompasses the study of mathematical models that describe physical phenomena, particularly focusing on their applications in cosmological contexts and theoretical physics. Through his research, Mr. Mushtaq aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these fields and address fundamental questions about the nature of the universe and its mathematical underpinnings.
