Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meray Medhat Shokry Zaghary has an extensive background in clinical toxicology, currently serving as a lecturer and Consultant in clinical toxicology at Sohag University, Faculty of Medicine since March 2021. In this role, she oversees critical care management, provides expert consultation, and conducts courses on first aid management. Prior to her current position, from August 2016 to March 2021, she worked as an Assistant Lecturer of clinical toxicology at Sohag University. During this period, she conducted numerous educational rounds and published two papers in 2020 related to her doctoral research on cardiac enzymes and ECG predictors of mortality in acute toxicity. Dr. Zaghary also holds a Master’s degree in clinical toxicology from Sohag University, where she served as a Demonstrator from April 2013 to August 2016, conducting clinical toxicological rounds and contributing to conferences and workshops in the field. Her professional journey includes certifications in digital transformation, preparing teachers, anticorruption, accreditation standards, statistical analysis in clinical research, and various scientific writing and research workshops.

Her expertise also extends to drug abuse among university students, where she has published significant studies. Dr. Zaghary is actively involved in exploring advancements in toxicology treatment protocols, including workshops on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Disaster and Crisis Management, and the application of SPSS in statistical analysis for clinical research. Her research endeavors aim to enhance understanding and improve outcomes in toxicology through rigorous scientific inquiry and practical applications.
