Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olfa Frini is an esteemed economist with a specialization in applied microeconomics, household economics, development economics, demography, labor, and human development, and the economic impacts of population aging. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Institut Supérieur de Comptabilité et d’Administration des Entreprises (ISCAE) at Manouba University, Tunisia. Dr. Frini has been a Research Associate at the Economic Research Forum (ERF) since March 2016 and a member of the Economics and Business Strategies (ECSTRA) Lab at IHEC, Carthage University, Tunisia, since October 2017. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olfa Frini holds a diverse and robust educational background in economics. She earned her Accreditation to lead research (HDR) in Economics from Manouba University, Tunisia, in 2019. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics at Cergy-Pontoise University, France, in 2010. Prior to that, she received a Diploma of Advanced Development Studies in Economics from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Tunis El Manar University, Tunisia, in 1996. Dr. Frini also holds a Master of Economic Sciences from the same institution, which she obtained in 1993. Her educational journey has equipped her with a deep understanding and expertise in various fields of economics.

Professional Experience:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olfa Frini is currently an Associate Professor in Economics at the Institut Supérieur de Comptabilité et d’Administration des Entreprises (ISCAE), Manouba University, Tunisia, a role she has held since September 2020. Before this, she served as an Assistant Professor at ISCAE from 2011 to 2019, and as an Assistant in Economics from 2004 to 2011. Her academic career began at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion Sousse (ISGS), Tunisia, where she worked as an Assistant in Economics from 1998 to 2004. Alongside her academic positions, Dr. Frini has been a Research Associate at the Economic Research Forum (ERF) since March 2016 and a member of the Economics and Business Strategies (ECSTRA) Lab at IHEC, Carthage University, Tunisia, since October 2017.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olfa Frini’s research interests lie primarily in the fields of Applied Microeconomics, Household Economics, and Development Economics. Her work extensively explores the dynamics of Demography, Labour, and Human Development, with a specific focus on the economic impacts of population aging.
