Dr. Femi Ilevbare is a Nigerian national born on December 29th, 1978. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor (Reader) and has been employed since December 19th, 2006, starting as an Assistant Lecturer. He completed his Master’s thesis titled “Influence of Self-Monitoring and Locus of Control on Attitude towards Solid Waste Management in Lagos State” at the Department of Psychology, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, in 2011. Subsequently, he pursued his Ph.D., focusing on “Locus of Control, Environmental Attitudes, and Self-Efficacy as Predictors of Environmentally Responsible Behavior among Residents in Southwestern Nigeria,” which he completed in 2014 at the same institution. Dr. Ilevbare has held various administrative roles, including Managerial Psychology Programme Coordinator from 2016 to 2020 and Postgraduate Coordinator for M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs since 2020. He has also contributed to the field through his internship at the Ife Centre for Psychological Services from 2011 to 2014, where he provided clinical psychological services.
