Mr. Techilo Tinsae is an experienced professional with a background in education and mental health nursing. He obtained his Higher Diploma of Education from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia, in 2022, following which he pursued an MSc in Integrated Clinical and Community Mental Health from the same university, completing it in 2021. His master’s thesis focused on “Exposure to stressful life events and help-seeking behaviors among reproductive-age women in Northwest Ethiopia: Community-based cross-sectional study.” Prior to his master’s, Mr. Tinsae earned a BSc in Psychiatry Nursing from the University of Gondar in 2018.
He is proficient in various computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SPSS, STATA, EPINFO, EPIDATA, and Endnote. Mr. Tinsae has also undergone specialized short training in Grant Writing, Group Interpersonal Therapy, Systematic Review and Meta-analysis, and mhGAP.
Currently, Mr. Techilo Tinsae serves as a Lecturer at the University of Gondar, Department of Psychiatry, contributing to psychiatric education and research since 2020. His expertise lies at the intersection of education, mental health, and nursing, particularly within the context of psychiatry in Ethiopia.
