He pursued his higher education at the College of Agriculture and Environmental Science, Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. From 2017 to 2019, he obtained his M.Sc. Degree in Horticulture, achieving an impressive GPA of 3.88 out of 4. Prior to this, he completed his B.Sc. Degree in Plant Science at the same institution from 2008 to 2011, with a GPA of 3.53 out of 4. His academic journey began at Menkorer Senior Secondary School in Debre Markos, Ethiopia, where he completed his high school education in 2007. He laid the foundation for his education at Yelamguj Primary School in the East Gojjam Zone, Ethiopia, where he received his Grade 8th regional examinations certificate in 2003. Preceding his academic roles, he served as a Technical Assistant at the Horticulture and Plant Science Departments from December 26, 2014, to March 26, 2016. Before joining the academic sector, he gained valuable experience as a Crop Protection Expert at the Sinan Woreda Agriculture Office from June 26, 2012, to December 25, 2014, and as an Officer of Crop Production at the Baso-liben Woreda Agriculture Office from November 18, 2011, to June 25, 2012, both located in Gojjam, Ethiopia. Through his work in various capacities, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing agricultural practices and contributing to the development of the agricultural sector in Ethiopia.
