Mr. Yibekal Hailu is an accomplished educator and researcher specializing in physics. He completed his Bachelor of Education in Physics at Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia in 2007, followed by a Master of Science in Physics from Addis Ababa University in 2010. Additionally, he obtained a Higher Diploma in Teacher Education in 2012.

With a keen interest in advancing his knowledge and expertise, Mr. Hailu is currently pursuing a PhD at the Washera and Geo-space Radar Science Laboratory (WaGRL) at Bahir Dar University since September 2020.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hailu has held various teaching positions, including as a Graduate Assistant and Lecturer at Dire Dawa University from 2007 to 2013. Since 2013, he has served as a Lecturer in the Physics Department at Debre Markos University in Ethiopia.

Mr. Yibekal Hailu has amassed a wealth of professional experience in the realm of physics education and research. He embarked on his career as a Graduate Assistant in the Physics Department at Dire Dawa University, Ethiopia, from September 2007 to September 2008. Here, he honed his teaching skills and cultivated a passion for academic inquiry. Building upon this foundation, Mr. Hailu transitioned to the role of Lecturer in the same department, where he served from July 2010 to March 2013. During this period, he delivered lectures, supervised student projects, and engaged in scholarly activities to advance the understanding of physics concepts.

Since March 2013, Mr. Hailu has held the position of Lecturer in the Physics Department at Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. In this capacity, he continues to impart knowledge to students, foster critical thinking, and nurture a deep appreciation for the principles of physics. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Hailu actively contributes to research endeavors, particularly in the areas of ionospheric physics, space physics, and computational physics. His dedication to both teaching and research underscores his commitment to academic excellence and the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Mr. Yibekal Hailu’s research interests are centered around the exploration of various phenomena within the field of physics. Primarily, he is deeply engaged in the study of ionospheric physics, aiming to unravel the intricate dynamics and structures within Earth’s ionosphere. Additionally, he delves into space physics, investigating the behavior of celestial bodies, magnetic fields, and cosmic radiation to gain a comprehensive understanding of space-related phenomena. Complementing these areas, Mr. Hailu also focuses on computational physics, employing advanced numerical methods and simulations to model complex physical systems.
