Transitioning from academia to research, Dr. Birhan served as a Researcher in atmospheric physics and radar meteorology at Debre Markos University from 2020 to 2021. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Director at the Chokie Mountain Research and Development Project Directorate in 2021.
