As of February 2024, Mr. Mathew serves as the General Manager at Oman Metal Industries / ENFAB Intl, where he oversees company operations, ensures the delivery of innovative technology solutions, and drives business expansion. His responsibilities span leadership and management, operational oversight, client relations, financial management, strategic planning, technology and innovation, HSE & quality assurance, human resources, sales and marketing, and risk management.

From March 2022 to January 2024, he worked as the Portfolio Project Manager for North Rumaila – West Qurna, where he strategized gas fields portfolio projects, managed project lifecycles, and ensured compliance with governance and project execution standards. He has extensive experience in leading complex projects, utilizing tools like Primavera and SAP Finance, and managing relationships with contractors and stakeholders.

Previously, Mr. Mathew spent over a decade with Petroleum Development Oman – Shell (August 2009 to November 2021) as the Front-end Development Manager & Project Delivery Manager. He collaborated with internal stakeholders and shareholders, managed contracts, delivered technical assurance, and implemented the world’s first economically viable wetland produced water treatment facility. He led significant projects such as the Marmul Polymer phase 3 and Nimr Reed Bed Project.
