Transitioning to administrative roles, Dr. Gbamwua worked as a Revenue Management Officer at Benue State Internal Revenue in Gboko, Benue State, from 2011 to 2014. Subsequently, he joined the Ministry of Education in Makurdi, Benue State, where he served as an Education Officer 1 from 2014 to 2015.

Driven by his passion for education, Dr. Gbamwua ventured into academia. He held the position of Lecturer at the Institute of Adult Education and Allied Studies in Makurdi, Benue State, from 2015 to 2019.
